Page Loading Issues

Page Won't Load

Symptoms:

  • Blank screen
  • Endless loading spinner
  • Page timeout

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page

    • Press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac)
    • Or click the refresh button
  2. Clear browser cache

    • Chrome: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data
    • Select "Cached images and files"
    • Refresh after clearing
  3. Try a different browser

    • Test in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
    • If it works, issue is browser-specific
  4. Check internet connection

    • Try other websites
    • Reset Wi-Fi/network connection
  5. Disable browser extensions

    • Ad blockers can interfere
    • Try incognito/private mode

Slow Performance

Symptoms:

  • Pages load slowly
  • Actions take long time
  • Lag when typing

Solutions:

  1. Check internet speed

    • Run speed test
    • Minimum recommended: 5 Mbps
  2. Close unused tabs

    • Each tab uses memory
    • Close other applications
  3. Clear browser data

    • Clear cache and cookies
    • Restart browser
  4. Update browser

    • Use latest version
    • Check for updates

Data Display Issues

Missing Data

Symptoms:

  • Items not showing
  • Inspections missing
  • Empty lists

Solutions:

  1. Check filters

    • Click "Clear Filters"
    • Active filters hide data
  2. Check location access

    • You may only see assigned locations
    • Contact admin for access
  3. Refresh the page

    • Data may not have loaded
    • Force refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R
  4. Check date range

    • Reports may filter by date
    • Expand date range

Wrong Data Displayed

Symptoms:

  • Outdated information
  • Incorrect counts
  • Stale data

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page

    • Get latest data from server
  2. Clear cache

    • Cached data may be old
  3. Log out and back in

    • Refreshes user session
  4. Check for sync issues

Data Not Saving

Symptoms:

  • Changes don't persist
  • Save button does nothing
  • Error after saving

Solutions:

  1. Check connection

    • Ensure you're online
    • Try a simple action first
  2. Check for validation errors

    • Red highlighted fields
    • Required fields missing
  3. Check permissions

    • You may not have edit rights
    • Contact admin
  4. Try again later

    • Server may be busy
    • Wait a few minutes

Permission Issues

Can't Access Feature

Symptoms:

  • Button grayed out
  • "Access Denied" message
  • Feature not visible

Solutions:

  1. Check your role

    • Go to your profile
    • See your current role
  2. Understand role limits

  3. Check location assignment

    • You may need location access
    • Contact admin to add
  4. Contact administrator

Can't Edit Item

Symptoms:

  • Edit button missing
  • Changes won't save
  • Read-only view

Solutions:

  1. Check ownership

    • Users can only edit own items (depending on role)
  2. Check item status

    • Retired items may be locked
    • Under maintenance may have restrictions
  3. Check your role

    • May need Manager or Admin role

Notification Issues

Not Receiving Emails

Symptoms:

  • No notification emails
  • Missing alerts
  • Invitations not received

Solutions:

  1. Check spam/junk folder

    • Emails often filtered
    • Mark as "not spam"
  2. Check email settings

    • Profile > Notifications
    • Ensure email enabled
  3. Verify email address

Too Many Notifications

App Not Working

Report Won't Generate

    • Smaller date range
    • Fewer items included
  2. Simplify report

    • Remove unnecessary fields
    • Reduce complexity
  3. Try during off-hours

    • Less server load
  4. Export instead

    • CSV may work when PDF fails

Report Shows Wrong Data

Solutions:

  1. Check filters

    • Report filters may be applied
  2. Verify date range

    • Check start and end dates
  3. Check data freshness

    • Data may have changed
  4. Regenerate report

    • Create new report
